Cold Camera Let’s Talk

You’re posting consistently. Most of it still doesn’t give anyone a reason to trust you.

Short-form video for independent med spas. We show the people and expertise behind the treatments.

Let’s Talk
Collins Akafu

Built for med spas, and only med spas.

I’m Collins, founder of Cold Camera. We work with one type of business: independent med spas.

My focus is helping you show your expertise and results through short-form video. Not a general video shop. A specialist.

They’re already looking at you.

Before someone books, they research. They check your Instagram, scroll through your page, and decide if they trust you with their face and skin.

Showing treatments is not enough. They need to see the people, the expertise, the results, and what it feels like to walk in.

What we create

Results

Content that showcases treatments, transformations, and before-and-afters.

Education

Providers answering the questions potential patients already have before booking.

People & Practice

Content that introduces the providers, personality, environment, and experience behind the med spa.

How it works

Strategy

We plan your content around the questions, concerns, treatments, and results your potential patients are already thinking about. Before every shoot, you know what we are filming and why.

Batch Create

Twice a month, we come to your practice for a focused 60 to 90 minute filming session. We guide your providers through the topics and capture multiple videos in one visit, plus B-roll. You do not have to stop your week to make content.

Edit & Package

We handle all of the post-production: cuts, pacing, captions, hooks, B-roll, audio cleanup, and formatting. Every video is ready for social media.

Schedule & Publish

Finished videos go into a content calendar and get scheduled, so your practice stays visible without someone on your team having to remember to post.

Measure & Improve

Before the next batch, we look at what people watched, engaged with, and responded to. That decides the next round of topics and videos.

Why us instead of a big corporate agency?

Built for med spas

We’re not filming for a restaurant on Monday and a realtor on Tuesday. Everything we do is built around independent med spas: the treatments, the providers, the patients, and the questions people have before they book.

You know who’s working on your content

You’re not getting passed between an account manager, a strategist, a videographer, and an editor who barely know your practice. We stay close to the work, from planning to filming to reviewing what happened after.

We come to your practice

Twice a month, we’re there in person, filming with your team. We learn your providers, your treatments, your space, and how your practice talks. You can’t get that from a Zoom call.

Fewer meetings. More done.

Your providers don’t need another marketing job. We plan the topics, set up the shoots, guide your team on camera, film, edit, package, and schedule. Your team mainly shows up for the filming sessions.

No templates

Two med spas can offer the same treatment and still have completely different providers, patients, and strengths. We build the content around your practice, not one format for every client.

We learn with you

Every batch tells us more. We look at what potential patients respond to and use it to shape the next round.

You don’t need a massive marketing department. You need someone close enough to your practice to understand it, and a system that gets the work done every month.

You might be thinking…

“We already have someone doing our content.”

Having someone responsible for content and being happy with the content are two different things. Is it consistent? Is it more than before-and-afters? Can people actually see your providers? If not, the question is simple: is what you have now producing the presence you want?

“We’re too busy to make content.”

That’s exactly why it’s built this way. You shouldn’t have to become a content creator. Two filming sessions a month replace constantly figuring out what to film, say, edit, and post. Being busy is the reason for this system, not a reason against it.

“We tried content before and it didn’t work.”

Did content not work, or did what you tried not work? Posting treatment clips, before-and-afters, or random Reels and getting weak results doesn’t mean content can’t work. It means that method didn’t.

“How do I know this will actually work?”

You don’t, and I won’t pretend you do. You shouldn’t take my word for it. So we start with the work itself, we measure what happens, and what we see earns the next step. I’m asking for as little blind trust as possible.

“$2,000 is expensive.”

Look at what you’re comparing it to. You’re not paying $2,000 for some Reels. You’re paying to stop owning the whole problem: figuring out what to say, organizing shoots, filming, editing, packaging, scheduling, and learning from what happens. The real comparison is $2,000 versus keeping all of that on your team. Not $2,000 versus pressing record on an iPhone.

Who this is for.

I work with a specific type of practice. Here is who that is.

A good fit

  • Independently owned med spas with 1–3 locations
  • An owner, provider, or practice manager who makes marketing decisions
  • Offering Botox, fillers, laser, microneedling, body contouring, or similar treatments
  • Already posting on Instagram
  • Established and ready to invest in marketing

Not a fit

  • Facial-only or skincare spas, day spas, massage businesses, and salons
  • Solo estheticians doing mostly basic facials
  • Brand-new or inactive practices
  • Low-budget operators
  • Large chains or franchises where corporate controls marketing

Questions

How often do you come to our practice?

Twice a month. Each visit is a focused 60 to 90 minute filming session.

How does filming work?

We film multiple videos in one session, so your team is not interrupted all month. We plan what we are filming ahead of time and guide your providers through the whole shoot.

Do we have to come up with the content ideas?

No. We plan the topics around your treatments, the questions patients ask, their concerns, your results, and what they need to understand before booking.

Do we need to write our own scripts?

No. We structure what each video needs to say and give your providers clear talking points and direction.

What if our providers aren’t comfortable on camera?

That’s normal. We guide them through it, so they do not have to know how to perform. The goal is videos that feel natural, not scripted.

Who handles the editing?

We do. Cuts, pacing, captions, hooks, B-roll, audio cleanup, and formatting. You get finished short-form videos, not raw footage.

How much content do we film at once?

Multiple videos per session. The exact number depends on the topics, providers, treatments, and how involved each video is.

What’s the investment?

$2,000 flat.

What you get is a practice that finally shows up online the way it deserves to. Your content reflects the quality of the experience you’ve built in person. Your providers look and sound like the experts they are. And when someone finds your page, you know they’re seeing your practice at its best.

Content stops being something in the back of your mind that you know should be better. It’s handled.

Do you only film providers talking to the camera?

No. We also film treatments, patient results, B-roll, and the practice itself. Anything that helps a potential patient understand and trust you.

Do you handle posting too?

We organize and schedule the finished content in a content calendar, so nobody on your team has to remember what to post every day.

What platforms is the content made for?

Instagram only. Everything is made for Instagram, and we don’t repurpose it for other platforms.

How do you decide what we should post?

We start with your services, providers, patient questions, concerns, and goals. Once content is live, we use what people respond to and shape the next batch around it.

How do you know what’s working?

We look at views, watch time, engagement, profile activity, inquiries, and bookings when we can track them.

Will filming interfere with our patients or normal workday?

We built the system to keep disruption low. Instead of filming all month, we put production into scheduled sessions.

What do you need from our team?

Access to the practice, and the providers or team members who are on camera during the filming window. We handle the planning, filming, editing, and workflow around that.

What happens after each batch of content?

We edit and prepare the footage, schedule the finished content, and review what potential patients respond to. Those results shape the next batch.
